This class is especially designed to teach programming concepts in the early grades, from pre-Kindergartners to second-graders. We use a play-based approach, and a combination of teaching tools, physical exercises and art to introduce computing and robotics to early learners.
It is particularly suited to preliterate students and those still developing reading and writing skills.
This class, like most of our classes, borrows precepts from multi-age classrooms to reinforce lessons. The younger children learn from watching and emulating older children and the older children reinforce their understanding of the content by helping the younger children.
